The capabilities that keep people paying for Marvelous Designer.

Flat pattern pieces with seams, darts and pleats that stitch together into a 3D garment.
Fast cloth solver tuned for garments
Stable draping on posed or animated avatars at interactive speed.
Fabric presets with physical properties
Pattern editing that updates the 3D drape
Export to game and film pipelines
UV layouts, retopology and animation caches ready for DCC apps and engines.
A solver that sews flat pattern pieces into stable garments is research-heavy, and realistic fabric behavior needs measured material data and long tuning.
Each covers part of the job. None replaces Marvelous Designer yet.
Partial: Cloth simulation and sculpting on ready-made meshes; no sewing-pattern workflow.
